Getting started

Pick one small thing you can do on a bad day. Do it, then tap its card. That is the whole ask. Every seventh fed day, the night leaves something half-made on the anvil and you finish it the next morning with five taps.

I missed a day

Nothing breaks. There is no streak to lose in Mica — that is deliberate. The fire banks down to warm coals, Mica sleeps beside them, and the room waits for you. Come back whenever; nothing is lost and nothing is counted against you.

Moving to a new phone

Open Settings and choose Keep this room to attach an email and a password to it. On the new phone, tap Been here before? on the first screen and sign in — your fires, your shelf and your room come with you. Without an account the room lives only on the one device.

I forgot my password

On the sign-in screen, tap Forgot your password? and we will email you a link. If it does not arrive within a few minutes, check spam, then write to us.

Mica Plus

Plus is $49.99 a year or $8.99 a month, each with a one-week free trial. It raises your fires from three to ten, gives five times the daily conversation with Mica (who remembers your last talks), lets you share a fire with a friend, and adds the Dawn and Night widget looks. Manage or cancel it in the iPhone Settings app under your name, then Subscriptions — we cannot cancel it for you, but Apple can, and cancelling never takes your room away.

Metal and purchases

Metal is earned by showing up: every check-in mints some. Metal packs are only ever a shortcut to furniture. Nothing bought with money moves your fire, your shelf or the forge — that is a promise the app is built around. If a purchase did not arrive, reopen the app while online and it will settle itself; if it still has not, write to us with the date and we will sort it.

Deleting your account

Write to hello@micahabits.com from your account address and we will delete your account and everything attached to it, usually within a few days. Deleting the app removes all on-device data.
